The UTPP is a portable ultrasonic inspection device for non-destructive testing of butt-fusion and electrofusion joints in polyethylene piping systems. It is designed for inspection of PE80, PE100 and PE2708 pipes used in water and gas distribution networks.
Using dedicated ultrasonic transducers and built-in automatic defect classification, the UTPP helps detect and evaluate joint imperfections quickly and consistently, while predefined inspection plans and reporting tools simplify field quality control.
