Description
PH1 is a probe designed for measuring the thickness of electrolytic nickel and other galvanic coatings on parts made of ferrous metals and alloys, including:
- surfaces with roughness up to Rz 400;
- coatings beneath dielectric layers.
Features
- Pencil-type probe for precise thickness measurement of galvanic coatings.
- Compensation for gap effects (e.g., due to dielectric coatings).
- Compensation for probe tilt during measurement.
- High resistance to chemical exposure in galvanic environments.
- Minimal influence of substrate and coating roughness on measurement results.
- Calibration using natural coating thickness reference specimens (samples).
