Description

PH1 is a probe designed for measuring the thickness of electrolytic nickel and other galvanic coatings on parts made of ferrous metals and alloys, including:

  • surfaces with roughness up to Rz 400;
  • coatings beneath dielectric layers.

Features

  • Pencil-type probe for precise thickness measurement of galvanic coatings.
  • Compensation for gap effects (e.g., due to dielectric coatings).
  • Compensation for probe tilt during measurement.
  • High resistance to chemical exposure in galvanic environments.
  • Minimal influence of substrate and coating roughness on measurement results.
  • Calibration using natural coating thickness reference specimens (samples).
