Description
PH3 is a probe designed for measuring the thickness of galvanic coatings on small parts made of ferrous metals and alloys, including:
- surfaces with roughness up to Rz 200;
- coatings beneath dielectric layers.
Features
- Pencil-type probe with a minimum measurement zone diameter of 1.5–2 mm.
- Compensation for gap interference (e.g., from dielectric coatings).
- Compensation for tilt angle during measurements.
- Low sensitivity to part radius.
- Ability to store up to 7 calibration curves in the probe memory.
- Ability to save custom calibrations for specific workpieces and parts.
- Resistance to chemical exposure in galvanic production environments.
- Extremely low influence of part and coating roughness on measurement results.
- Calibration using natural coating thickness reference specimens (samples).
