Description

Probe for hardness measurement of non-ferrous metals and alloys (aluminium, copper, titanium and their alloys, etc.), all types of low and medium hardness steels and alloys (structural, carbon, alloyed, stainless, heat-resistant, etc.), and other materials (fibreglass, engineering plastics, etc.).

The instrument implements the direct method of hardness measurement in accordance with DIN 50157 and ASTM B724 standards. A key feature of this measurement method is that the material and dimensions of the test object do not affect the measurement results.

Hardness measurement is also possible on surface layers sensitive to scratches or on polished parts, as well as on thin-walled products, profiles and tubes with a wall thickness of less than 2 mm

Features

— direct measurement method;
— possibility to measure hardness of a wide range of materials (nonferrous metals and alloys, steels, plastics) without preliminary calibration;
— absence of thickness influence (from 2 mm) and weight influence of inspected object on measurement results;
— possibility to carry out measurements with set limits.
