Purpose
Compact device with a set of removable dynamic and ultrasonic contact impedance probes is designed to measure the hardness and temporary resistance (σ) of different metals: low-carbon steel, cast iron, stainless and high alloyed steels, non-ferrous metals.
The device combines two different physical methods in one uniform operation concept – Quasi-Static Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) and the Dynamic Rebound Hardness Testing methods.

— speed and high locality of measurements;
— up to nine fixed material groups in the memory of the probe in the supply (at customer’s request);
— large number of probes with removable support rings for control the products varied destination – from large to small of profile composite;
— a small influence of thickness and weight of products on the measurement results;
— LED matrix with user-friendly interface and enhanced keyboard (based on the principle of one button – one function) for easy work with the device;
— output on indicator mean and a single (final) results of measurements at the same time;
— an opportunity to see the statistics in the process of measurement;
— the possibility of tolerance control;
— indicator back lights;
— possibility of storing calibrations   in the memory of the probes and measurement results in memory of gauge with consequent transfer of then into IBM PC via channel USB2.0 for statistic processing, storage and documentation using the program «NDT1 – DATA – hardness».
